The Mutare District ushered in the new year with a spirit of renewal and gratitude as nine new ministerial appointments were officially announced. The introductions were made by District Superintendent Rev. Joseph Charinge during the just-concluded End of Year Revival held at Zimunya Camping Ground.
Addressing congregants gathered for the revival, DS Charinge presented the newly appointed ministers and pastors who will serve across the district. The appointments include Rev. Barbra Marumba to the Zimbern Circuit, Rev. Munyaradzi Timire to Dangamvura East, and Rev. Nyasha Chimbunde to Zimunya Central. Also appointed were Pastor Edith Tumbare to the Gwese Circuit, Pastor Clopas Kashiri to the Dora Circuit, and Rev. Happy Chirara to the Chitakatira Circuit.
Further strengthening the district’s leadership, Rev. Nyasha Chimboza was appointed to Zimunya South, Rev. Achford Muchingami to St John’s Chikanga, while Gilbert Chifamba was introduced as the Mutare District Evangelist.
The announcement was received with joy and thanksgiving, marking a significant moment in the life of the Mutare District. As the revival came to a close, congregants prayed for the new appointees, committing them to God’s guidance as they begin their ministries and serve faithfully in their respective circuits.
